This training teaches the use of secret code along the Underground Railroad. Teachers will be given the resources to teach children about quilt codes, African spiritual songs, and there use on Underground Railroad, a secret travel path to escape slavery. These concepts will be taught through movement and music. Teachers will also be taught how to demonstrate their understanding through movement and will receive follow-up resources and activities.
